My experience as a technology leader in both small and large businesses finds me comfortable operating both strategically and getting into the hands on details. The trick is knowing when to operate at which level, and what is appropriate for the business I'm working with. Most recently I have found myself using my corporate experience working with senior management teams to drive improvements in their business beyond the purely technical. I am a senior technical manager experience at board and CxO level with broad experience of design/new build/project/integration and operational management. Excellent troubleshooting experience at every level from the programme level through to performance tuning individual devices. A mixture of Internet, enterprise and customer facing skills. Strong people management and teambuilding experience, working closely with account teams to retain and build business. Happy dealing with new business, service delivery, operations, strategy or hands on technology. Inevitably, operating in the HMG space, all business and technology decisions are framed by Information Assurance, and my interest and experience in this area led to me becoming a CLAS consultant.
