I build secure, stable, and scalable virtual technology infrastructure for growing companies develop and assemble secure and scalable technology infrastructure using cloud-native platforms. I'm focused on improving and building new foundational infrastructure, currently migrating our monolithic ETL platform to event-driven microservices on AWS (while also serving as chief security officer). I built and led tech team at 3Q Digital that served the company as we grew from 40 to over 500 employees, led the migration from on-premises to cloud infrastructure, and built a tech culture that continually refined infrastructure, services, security and privacy to meet the needs of larger clients and legislation while maintaining the nimble and collaborative work environment that younger and modern workforces demand. I am experienced in leading multinational teams and reporting to diverse management teams in various countries, having built infrastructure and managed tech teams in London, Barcelona, Madrid, Paris, Munich, Dusseldorf, Dubai, Lisbon and Sao Paolo. I have been involved in both sides of mergers, acquisitions and divestitures and balance respect for the teams being acquired with the needs of the business going forward. I started practicing yoga after developing intense lower back pain and shoulder problems after working at a desk for most of my life. Teaching yoga was a refreshing sabbatical that enabled me to come back to the tech world free of pain and a much keener ability to lead groups.
