I am a recognized information security and cyber-crime expert who has lead data breach and forensic investigations and security assessments for both public and private sector clients throughout the world. Leading a demanding forensic practice and a highly visible security program, I perform forensic examination and investigation, vulnerability analysis and risk / threat assessment, social engineering testing, security architecture review, incident response, and policy and procedure review and development. I have served as the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) for a state department of education, leading its largest project ($43M) comprised of two cloud infrastructures serving the entire state. I provide information security and digital forensic training for police departments, hospitals, government agencies and major corporations. I developed and presented the Information Security Training curriculum for the Information System Security Officers (ISSO) and security staff at a major government agency. I create, design, and implement enterprise wide information security programs throughout the US and I am advisor and subject matter expert to top executives (+$20B). I teach Forensic Computer Investigation and National Security classes at the graduate and undergraduate level and was one of the first to instruct forensic computer investigation training at the Police Academy of Puerto Rico.
