Walter Yosafat is a progressive Chief Information Officer who works with complex companies. He has served in permanent and interim consulting capacities, including 7 strategic advisory boards, building and executing strategic plans that improve businesses and functional organizations. Walter has in-depth leadership experience using information technology, information security and business process improvement to the advantage of large, global companies in growing revenue, profit and customer satisfaction. His initiatives and results span risk management, strategic planning, cybersecurity and enhanced customer experience. He was inducted into the CIO Hall of Fame in 2019. Walter is Board experienced and is available for select Board engagements. THE CEO’S CIO • Led the strategy, creation and start-up of the re-launched Trane Commercial Air Conditioning Services business. • Earned Genpact’s internal company Best Function Award for IT. • In winning the Genpact award, was named Americas CEO and led the turnaround of this under-performing business, meeting or beating revenue, EBITDA and customer satisfaction targets for the 1st time ever. • Built and led the IT team that delivered flawlessly on the spin / split at Wyndham Worldwide, executing in 10 months. END-TO-END DIGITAL TRANSFORMATION • As P&G's Asia CTO, established the company’s 1st network and server infrastructure that served as the foundation for SAP financials and supply chain systems. • For GE’s Aircraft Engine business, led development with Oracle and delivery of 1st comprehensive Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul application. • Developed an IT productization strategy, leading to delivery of new revenue-generating products for Genpact. INFORMATION SECURITY SPECIALIST • Led the shut down of P&G's Japan Data Center, the most expensive data center for P&G globally, securely moving processing to Cincinnati, several months ahead of the Kobe earthquake. • Built from scratch Genpact’s first Information Security plan and organization. • Served as Wyndham’s most senior IT leader and face of the function to the board and audit committee, leading the turnaround and rebuild of the company's Information Security function.
