For the last two decades I have focused on various aspects of game changing technologies that enable my customers to think, bring in new ideas, and find creative and innovative ways to grow. To achieve this I have focused my skills on strong two way communication, understanding individual customer’s value drivers, identifying economic drivers, and ultimately having fun. My roles have ranged from selling, architecting, developing, and consulting. My career started in consulting at Accenture where I learned how to help customers change to be more successful (technology, process, people). I then explored the dynamic world of startups where I helped package consulting services with software offerings to help scale the software adoption rate. My next goal was to better understand the sales dynamic while leveraging my technical experience while at BEA Systems in a presales role. I achieved a MBA from UC Berkeley in their evening program during this same timeframe. Eight years at Oracle helped me understand selling the entire spectrum of new product introduction, mature products, matrix sales, very large deals and very complex organizational behavior. I ultimately landed at an incredibly high growth, game changing, company of Tableau in Enterprise sales. Today I partner with thought leaders in the Fortune 500 who are looking for disruptive and innovative approaches to solving problems. I achieve this through Tableau's game changing approach of simplifying how both business and IT professionals see and understand their data.
