At Wise Health System, we are committed to increasing the quality of health care available to our community. In my current position, I manage multiple projects simultaneously from meeting with management to implementation. I am responsible for the ERP system (Infor Lawson), the Time Keeping System (Kronos) , the Decision Support System (EPSi) as well as all Reporting for the Health System. I manage the Business Intelligence and Decision Support Department. Using Business Intelligence software and tools, I have developed Dashboards and Reports for Clinic Management and Hospital Management. By using Micro Costing Methodology and Relative Value Units, I have helped save the hospital money and lower costs to become more competitive. I create financial reports by comparing Providers, Payer Mix, Specialties, and Quality using CPT Codes, HCPCS Codes, MSDRGs, ICD9 Diagnosis Codes, and ICD9 Procedure Codes. I use a combination of several Programming Languages, scripting, and Microsoft Visual Studio tools to accomplish my goals. In previous positions, I have held the position of Technology Director in which I was responsible for all Technology for the School District including Networking between 5 Buildings spread between 2 miles with Cisco Firewall, HP Pro Switches with 1 Gigabyte Network, 8 Servers, 850 computers, Web Filters, Security Cameras, Projectors, and Smart Boards. As PC Repair and Networking Instructor, I taught 18 students in which I am very proud to say that more than half of them are technology professionals to this day working in Hospitals, Technology Centers, and the Air Force. Working as Computer Educator, I trained everyone from Administration to Housekeeping how to use Web Mail, Microsoft, Lawson, and McKesson Software. I also implemented several projects. I enjoy my current position at Wise Health System. It is a great place to work and they treat their staff at an exceptional level. Being challenged on a daily basis and working on projects is a passion of mine.
