Scott Rotermund is an accomplished entrepreneur, building on 28+ years of healthcare experience with a relentless focus on growth and overall market fit. He is recognized as a thought leader shaping the healthcare industry, fostering successful client relationships and strategic partnerships across multiple verticals (health plans, employers and providers). Prior to starting and leading Sunny Rewards, Scott was the founder of Welltok and led the company to deliver a solution focused on enabling population health managers to provide personalized guidance and incentives – driving consumer engagement and satisfaction. Welltok grew from $0 to approximately $100 million in revenue during his tenure. Welltok raised over $250 million dollars and acquired 7 different businesses that focused on rewards, predictive analytics, ecosystem partnerships and several niche communications businesses which expanded the total addressable market. Lots of lessons learned (good and bad). Recently, Scott has been leading a market pivot for Clarity Software Solutions, where he has been able to unlock trapped value with routine health plan communications and position Clarity to become a valuable compliment to the overall member engagement strategy. This required retooling the commercial teams by infusing new talent, training, and adjusting the overall go-to-market strategies. Scott’s responsibility includes product, sales, marketing, and client success in addition to his Board responsibilities. He has served on the Board since 2019 and led the strategic pivot in an operational role since the June of 2020. Scott has also spent time, since 2020, working with several companies as a member of their Strategic Advisory Board. These companies include SWORD Health (MSK solution), DUOS (senior concierge solution) and Redesign Health (innovating and building multiple companies). Both SWORD and Redesign have each achieved market valuations more than $1.5 billion dollars. During his free time, Scott enjoys golf, skiing and spending time with his wife and three sons.
