David R. Singh is a partner in Weil's Silicon Valley Office, where his practice covers all aspects of complex commercial litigation. He has litigated a wide variety of disputes, including class actions, trade secret misappropriation and employee mobility disputes, breach of contract, fraud, and product liability cases, and earn out, working capital, indemnification and other post-closing M&A disputes.Mr. Singh serves as a leader of Weil's Class Action Task Force, is editor of Class Action Monitor, Weil's quarterly journal regarding trends and developments in the class action space, and is a prolific speaker and writer regarding class action issues. In the past year, he has been recognized by Law360 as a 'Rising Star' for Class Actions, by Legal 500 as a 'Next Generation Lawyer' for Products Liability, Mass Torts, and Class Actions, by Benchmark Litigation on its 'Under 40 Hot List', and by the Minority Corporate Counsel Association as a 'Rising Star'. In 2016, he was recognized by the California Daily Journal as a 'Top 40 Under 40' and by Law360 as a 'Legal Lion' for securing the dismissal of two high profile consumer class actions in the span of a week. Mr. Singh also contributes to the legal community, including through service in the ABA, Section of Litigation. He is a co-chair of the Corporate Counsel Committee, whose mission is to serve corporate clients through dialogue between in house and outside counsel, co-chair of the ABA Annual Meeting, and he recently served as Vice-Chair of the Section's inaugural Professional Success Summit, a summit dedicated to litigators of color seeking to maximize their career potential.Mr. Singh is a leader on diversity issues. He serves on Weil's firm-wide Diversity Committee, was a founder of Weil's Asian affinity group, and was Weil's Leadership Council on Legal Diversity Fellow in 2012. Mr. Singh is also a member of Weil's firm-wide Ethics Committee. He is admitted to practice in California and New York.
