Dave is the president & CEO of IDOC, a membership alliance of independent Optometrists in the US. Dave joined IDOC in 2014 and ascended to CEO in 2015 and then lead the successful sale by PE firm The Riverside Company in November 2016 to Investors Management Corporation. Today IDOC continually evolves, offering innovative practice solutions for the independent OD. Every day we go to work in support of our “Why” – to empower independent owners to live the practice of their dreams. Prior to joining IDOC, Dave had a successful 23-year career at Johnson & Johnson where he led teams and organizations that launched innovative products globally, created sales and income growth, and mentored a diverse range of leaders. Highlights include working on consumer OTC products (TYLENOL™ products), the disability industry (IBOT™ stair-climbing wheelchair), Rx and OTC dermatology (NEUTROGENA™) and global vision care (ACUVUE™ contact lenses). Dave attended Colgate University and received an MBA from Columbia University.
