I graduated from the University of Washington in 2012 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Media & Communication Studies. During my college career I completed a Public Relations and Social Media internship where I created and managed my company's social media accounts including YouTube, Facebook and Twitter. My responsibilities included researching advertising opportunities, drafting and distributing press releases, tracking company media coverage, and creating and editing DVD clips of public company meetings. Currently I am pursuing my interest in Human Resources by working as a Human Resources Assistant at the corporate office of Washington Federal. My interest in Human Resources has inspired me to obtain HR certification, which I hope to complete in the next few years. I envision myself as a HR Generalist, and look forward to a lifelong career in the HR field.
