HR Executive with 15+ years of experience in a variety of capacities/environments including start-up enterprises, operational turnaround & revitalization, high-growth corporations and complex organizations. Throughout my career I have been consistently recognized for my strategic leadership, keen bottom-line focus and ability to build consensus around decision-making and problem-solving. I am a Certified Senior Professional of Human Resources (SPHR) and have pursued advanced training in The SHRM Learning System from Vermont Technical College, as well as coursework in Making Change Work and Customer Care & Team Development. I earned a BA in Sociology from the University of Vermont. Since 2011 I have worked as the Manager of Recruitment & Staffing Strategies for Fletcher Allen Health Care, Vermont’s University hospital & medical center with 7K faculty/staff. I manage the daily operations of the Recruitment Division of the HR Dept. and provide strategic leadership in the development of effective recruitment strategies to ensure manpower needs. From 2007-2011 I assumed increasing levels of responsibility for Independent Brewers United. As Director of HR I administered policies for 600+ employees, geographically distributed across multiple sites. I reported directly to the CEO, partnering with executive staff to develop holistic solutions & systems for key business strategies. Prior to my most recent experience I spent 5 yrs as an HR Manager/Generalist/Administrator for The Howard Center for Human Services, 2 yrs as an HR Rep. for Country Home Products and co-owned/managed 2 corporations with sales of $750K+. A few highlights: -Implemented a LEAN approach to recruiting process & practices -Integral member of the Senior Leadership Team responsible for integrating 2 distinct companies under 1 umbrella -Developed the complete HR Dept. function for a rapidly growing, entrepreneurial company -Dramatically improved HR Scorecard
