USANA develops and manufactures high quality nutritional and personal care products that are sold directly to Preferred Customers and Associates throughout the United States, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Hong Kong, Japan, Taiwan, South Korea, Singapore, Malaysia, Mexico, Philippines and the United Kingdom. Additionally, USANA's wholly-owned subsidiary, BabyCare, Ltd., operates a direct selling business in China.

My current duties at USANA include overseeing new product discovery and evaluation with emphasis on innovative and clinically efficacious nutritional supplements and products while identifying leading-edge product concepts and technology. I advise on the experimental design of all research projects and make recommendations to the company's Founder on product development based on prevailing scientific evidence from clinical and epidemiological studies and other forms of scientific research. Evaluate current USANA product formulations and propose specific revisions and upgrades and advise on creative development of technical marketing claims for new products and provide evidence-based substantiation using credible research studies and clinical information. I also advise on intra- and extramural safety and efficacy studies in collaboration with USANA’s Scientific and Clinical Affairs group while directing the focus of USANA on applied research rather than basic academic research in the development of its health care products.
