Jason Cardinal is a Certified Construction Manager (CCM) and Professional Engineer (PE) in Connecticut, Massachusetts and Rhode Island. He has varied experience in all phases of constructing highways, bridges, and other transportation facilities. His project experience includes working for both a heavy civil contractor and consultant engineers. His major focus of work consists of significant Rail & Transit projects and programs under Federal Transit Administration (FTA), Federal Railroad Administration (FRA), Amtrak, Metro North and CTDOT, as well as other State, municipal and private sectors. His roles on these projects and programs valued up to several billion in size encompass every aspect of work including quality inspections, project controls, resident engineering, project management and program management. Currently serving as a Regional Manager in New England, his achievements include growing Urban’s Connecticut office and positioning the region for major program assignments in New England. Under his leadership, the office has won numerous CTDOT construction engineering and inspection projects for facilities and rail and highway infrastructure. In addition to his regional management duties, he is actively engaged in projects and programs including his current Project Management Oversight Contractor (PMOC) Task Order Manager II Role overseeing the Massachusetts Bay Management Authorities (MBTA) Signal, Power, Train Protection and Bridge Programs for the FTA.
