I am a board certified General Orthopaedic surgeon with an emphasis on sports medicine and hip arthroscopy. In college I was a a student athletic trainer which is where my foundation in sports medicine was established as was my exposure to Orthopaedics. I spent 10 years in the U.S. Navy and was stationed at the Naval Hospital at Camp LeJeune from 2009-2014, where I served as the Department Head from 2012-2014. In the military we treated our active duty personnel similar to how collegiate athletes would be treated and I bring that same perspective in treating my patients now. My objective is to treat my patients like I would treat family with the ultimate goal of improving their overall quality of life and return them to their physical activities of choice.
