Anthony started working professionally as a designer in 1997. Since that time, Anthony has continually honed his design skills and technical savvy through work on a broad spectrum of projects. In recent years, he has leveraged this design background with a keen interest in data analysis, technology, and all things brand, in order to further expand his role as a marketing communications professional. Presently based in Ann Arbor, Anthony serves as the Marketing Manager for the University of Michigan, College of Literature, Science, and the Arts (LSA), where he works with an extensive client list producing marketing strategies, branding solutions, and a wide variety of supporting collaterals--both in print and for the web. Anthony is himself an honors graduate of the University of Michigan, with degrees from both the School of Art and Design (BFA), and the College of LSA (BA, English Language and Literature). Anthony has traveled extensively, circumnavigated the globe (predominantly over land and sea routes), visited both hemispheres, and has resided in Italy, Japan, and the United States. When not working, Anthony enjoys a number of athletic pursuits from SCUBA diving to triathlon. Anthony particularly enjoys ultra endurance events and has not only completed numerous marathons--including the Boston Marathon--but is also a five-time finisher of the Ironman triathlon, a two-time competitor in the Ironman 70.3 World Championship, has had the honor of competing in the Ironman World Championship in Hawaii, and most recently, competed in Ironman Wisconsin and Tough Mudder, Tampa. As an avid sports technology fan, Anthony also devotes a good amount of his free time as a beta tester and forum moderator for Garmin Connect (formerly Motionbased.com). Anthony is also actively involved in the Sigma Phi Society and currently serves on the Alumni Advisory Board for the Michigan Chapter.
