I have a 25+ year career in the Finance Sector, and specifically Investment Banking. My recent career includes work in AML, Corporate Payments and eCommerce, Front-Office Trade Control, Corporate Banking, Prime Services, Fixed Income, Equities, FX and supporting derivatives trading service lines. My core competency is built on a strong IT foundation in integration and database technologies. From this I gain a keen insight into the challenges and issues facing today's Banking businesses as they adapt their operating models to satisfy increasing regulatory pressure. Recent engagements have included working with a leading global bank as IT PM to their Usability Development Team. This team is developing the next generation corporate client facing finance web portals and employing agile techniques to speed time to market for the solution. Prior to this, I was engaged by a leading Private Bank to help them set up a Design Authority. The role of this Design Authority was to provide a core decision making body for their corporate restructuring programmes as they moved towards a more global delivery model. My work has also covered the set up a completely new Trade Control Function in response to demands from the Regulator. Prior to this I led the successful recovery of a Prime Services Web-Portal programme from delivery delays.
