Process-Driven Information Technology Business Services Director and Consensus-Building Project and Asset Manager and Detail-Wrangling Collaborator
The University of Dayton is a top-tier national Catholic research university with a mission of service and leadership in community.
As a collaborative, dependable, and analytical IT business services director, I thrive on building lasting relationships and consensus to create seamless processes, conquer challenges, and further my organization’s mission with creativity, enthusiasm, and a positive attitude. I am a problem-solver at heart and love to provide others with the tools and resources they need to achieve their objectives. Check out my puzzle-cracking prowess in action: ●Consensus-Building Project Manager/Director● Establishing harmony helps me build strong relationships and deliver results. For example, through my guidance, the University has selected a CMT to ensure consistent IT asset management practices. I also continue to influence the strategic vision and evolution of the Technology Advisory Committee I created to help standardize hardware configurations and vendor roadmaps. ●Detail Wrangler● I excel at shepherding complex, enterprise-wide technical projects. I seamlessly managed an 1800+ annual student computer requirement—while also providing ongoing support to 7000+ students. I also liaised between the consultant and core team to smoothly transition 20,000+ Lotus Notes users to Google Apps within the desired 9-month timeframe. My expertise at identifying cost-saving processes & technology produces results: the switch saved UD money on software licensing & hardware costs. ●Team-Driven Collaborator● As part of the interdisciplinary Leadership UD development team, it is my privilege to co-facilitate & contribute to the personal development of my colleagues. In my 12 years on the team, I have co-facilitated this 9-month program for 240+ faculty & staff members. Fostering leadership at all levels is critical for any organization’s success. I am proud of the quality of work I manage and produce, and I am always looking for opportunities to use my customer- and process-focused project management to support my organization’s objectives.
