Responsible for developing coordinated, collaborative strategic campaigns for communicating UChicago’s mission and distinctive strengths. Leads a team of 14 in its use of inspiring creative and innovative technologies to delight constituents, leading to increased awareness, fundraising revenue, and relevance with alumni, parents, and friends. Develops and implements measurable strategies that will drive engagement and fundraising goals and increase awareness of the University. Prior to joining the University of Chicago, Morales was the marketing manager at Fleet Feet Sports Chicago, where she developed and implemented marketing strategies to drive sales and increase brand awareness. She also collaborated on the development and execution of the organization’s strategic plan, and advanced the brand’s presence with stakeholders in the non-profit sector. Morales began her career in sports communications, working first as a producer of ESPN Radio 1000, and then as the manager of media services for the Chicago Cubs. While with the Cubs, Morales’ responsibilities included fostering relationships with local and national media, serving as a club spokesperson, and producing press releases and media guides.
