Systems Engineering and Qualification Manager

Triton designs and develops composite structures and components that provide cost-effective, lightweight alternatives to heavy and/or metallic structures. From large complex structures to small components, Triton's staff of dedicated materials, process, design, and analysis engineers and fabricators works closely with our customers to develop new composite systems that cost no more (and less) than the baseline metal components they replace.

Feel free to connect: jcdean0619@gmail.com WHO I AM: A mechanical engineer with a MBA providing technical program management (defense, new product development, water purification). For over 15 years I have been involved with technical program management related to new product development and evaluation (Osmonics, Boeing, ZanAqua, Layne Christensen. Perceptive Technologies, Synergy Innovations and Triton Systems) and business development of these technologies. WHAT I DO: Understand the customers' technical needs (and wants); identify teams and systems to meet needs; coordinate internal and external (subcontractors) groups to effect system development; and ensure customer satisfaction with system operation and water quality. Perform ROI, LCCA, payback/breakeven analyses. For new companies or interested brand extension: write business plans (value proposition, competitive analysis, SWOT analysis, projections, use of funds, etc.) and presentations. Create processes to take SBIR-funded product development projects to products. Lead programs to success (scope, cost and schedule). WHY I AM DIFFERENT: Ability to observe the customer and orient skills and technologies to the customer's needs, make decisions (hardware selection, control system design/programming, installation. operation) and implement all.
