With years of communications experience, I have been successfully building awareness of product, technology and travel brands across multiple eras of mass media - from when print was king to today's online-first environment. Working throughout the corporate value chain - from manufacturers to suppliers to distributors and retailers, I have the background needed to tell a story from a variety of industry perspectives. Beginning my career in the then thriving paging industry at PageNet, I moved on to wireless distributor CellStar and then to Nokia during its most rapid growth phase. From Nokia, I headed up North American communications for HTC as it moved from an unknown white-label brand to a key industry player as it launched the world’s first Android phone. I then returned to Nokia as it launched its Windows Phone based Lumia portfolio to market as Director of Communications for North America. In June, 2014 I joined Travelocity to manage their communications efforts, and of course, to be the newest publicist for their superstar, The Roaming Gnome. Raised in Dallas, I am excited to be back home after almost a decade in exile outside of the great state of Texas. I am a graduate of Texas A&M University in College Station, TX from where I hold a BBA degree in marketing as well as an MBA.
