In most recent role, was company executive and leader of I.P. department at private technology company. Skilled in all aspects of I.P. law. Passionate about and have an aptitude for simplifying and maximizing the effectiveness of arguments--regardless of the underlying subject matter's complexity. Extensive experience leading patent litigation teams, both as plaintiff and defendant. Experience includes managing large and small teams of outside and in-house counsel, acting as first chair (uniquely while in-house executive/counsel) for both District Court and Appellate arguments, and drafting critical briefs. Prevailed against high caliber litigators from various Am Law 100 & 200 law firms, and top notch smaller boutique firms. Also, negotiated and drafted many I.P. related business deals and settlements. Vast experience addressed a wide variety of technologies, including business methods, computers, electronics, exercise equipment, financial, gaming, medical equipment, mechanical, pharmaceutical, software, and telecommunication. Earned J.D. at Harvard Law School and B.S. in Computer Engineering at the University of Michigan.
