Adam is Co-founder & CTO of universe.com - the social marketplace for events. Universe was acquired by Live Nation Entertainment NYSE:LYV (Ticketmaster) in 2015.Adam is a high performing leader with a deep technical understanding and 13+ full-time years of experience in technology and startups. As a polyglot and full-stack generalist, he leads teams with a hands-on approach in building elegant and scalable platforms for disruptive industries. He specializes in reservation systems, billing engines, high-volume payment processing, and scaling cloud-based microservice architectures.Adam studied Computer Science at University of Guelph, while founding his first startup which inspired his school's Business Venture Program. At TLM, Adam replaced paper-based data problems with scalable Java API web services for the Freight & Logistics industries. At Metavera, he lead development of a whitelabeled platform for indie car sharing organizations, then focused on scaling the business by leading over two-dozen deployments across 5 continents. As CTO at Universe, he oversees all aspects of a social ticketing platform, including multiple web & mobile applications, API microservices, and a highly-available and scalable distributed cloud architecture.
