I’m creative, but I’m not 'a creative.' I succeed as a strategic thinker in a creative environment, and I have a never ending curiosity and passion to learn. Using my academic training and versatile professional experience, I enjoy problem-solving as well as providing insightful counseling to internal stakeholders and clients alike. In 2005, I was a certified draftsman. Today, I am the youngest member to sit on my company’s senior management team, helping to guide corporate strategy. Along the way, I helped to establish an award-winning and nationally recognized production company, traveled to 20 countries, worked in 9 different areas of the entertainment industry, and achieved my MBA, with honors, working full time.I do not think work and fun are mutually exclusive, nor should it be when we spend so much of our lives with coworkers. One of my strengths is making sense out of the most complicated situations in order to communicate effectively with my team. I find laughter and candor are the best ways to diffuse a tense situation, and during stressful times, I’m good at reading people to ultimately help them achieve clarity and calm. My goal is to use my varied background to help make good teams great!At my current company, I have expanded the responsibilities and scope of my position. My team was able to save thousands of dollars through quantitative analysis and process improvements. None of this would have been possible were it not for the people around me, and I always try to surround myself with the best. A great professor once told me to 'be the dumbest person in the room.'I am always looking for a new opportunity or to meet new people.
