I am a portfolio Finance Director with the CFO & FD Centre, the UK’s number 1 provider of part time FD’s to ambitious and growing businesses. Our goal is to help busy CEO’s and MD’s free up time to grow their businesses whilst we take on the management of the finance function, or provide supplementary consultancy advice. My experience covers many industry sectors (see below) After qualifying as an ACA, I gained wide ranging experience in Blue Chip companies in the UK, USA and Italy including subsidiary FD roles. As an Interim FD I carried out successful assignments in turnaround and growth situations, before becoming FD of an AIM Listed client. I developed the finance function of this healthcare and recruitment plc which grew from £7m to over £100m turnover in 3 years playing a key role in its acquisition strategy and move to a full public listing. My subsequent experience includes 2 AIM floats, one as CEO, one as FD, and negotiation of various bank and VC facilities. I am very "hands on", can communicate at all levels, and have built, mentored and motivated many financial teams.
