I’ve only ever been in customer experience roles. I worked as a rafting guide on the rivers of Southern Africa, waited tables all over New Zealand and Australia, started up a successful events business in New York, and am currently a board member and shareholder of a global conference and training company that serves more than 10 000 customers a year. I've had the opportunity to work, travel and experience many things in many places. All of these shape how I think, what I do and how I feel. I’m always curious about human behaviour – especially in a commercial context – and how people treat each other. I believe strongly in the power of people and what is possible when people are motivated, inspired and happy. Other stuff that I love: - Interesting people and inspiring stories. - Old countries and ancient cultures with history, richness and tradition. - 70’s folk and rock music – especially David Bowie, Fleetwood Mac and Supertramp. - Rugby and fanatically supporting the game at all levels. - All things oceans and rivers. - Personal and spiritual development. I live in Manly – between the Pacific Ocean and the Sydney Harbour – with my wife, Lisa, and our two beautiful children.
