Tenaska is one of the largest private, independent energy companies in the United States.

In my former role AS SENIOR VICE PRESIDENT, ENGINEERING AND CONSTRUCTION, NICK N. BORMAN is responsible for overseeing project execution for environmental permitting, engineering and construction of new energy facilities, including advanced technology fossil-fueled power generation, natural gas midstream and renewable energy projects. He is a member of the Board of Stakeholders and serves as a member of various management committees associated with Tenaska business units. He also serves on the board of distributed solar generation company in which Tenaska has made an investment: Soltage, LLC. Mr. Borman supervises project planning, environmental affairs, project engineering, construction management, project management, construction contract development and contract administration for engineering, procurement and construction contracts, equipment purchase contracts and interconnection facilities contracts. He directs the engineering and construction teams that perform the conceptual design, detailed project engineering and technology assessment and selection process, and environmental support of new project development and acquisition activities. Mr. Borman’s experience in project management and project engineering dates to 1984. This experience includes development, design and engineering; contract development, management and administration; and construction, start-up and operations of fossil-fueled and nuclear-fueled power generating facilities. Mr. Borman has been involved in the project engineering, construction management, project management and contract administration on Tenaska projects throughout North America and internationally since 1991. Mr. Borman earned a Bachelor of Science in mechanical engineering from North Dakota State University. He is a registered professional engineer and a member of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers.
