After moving on from the corporate world I co-founded a company just before the recession that went on to be named as one of the Top 100 fastest growing privately held UK companies for five consecutive years. I now do venture and angel investing and have a private portfolio of 30+ companies. Through my role as Managing Director of Techstars (based in London), I enjoy mentoring founders who are re-inventing financial services and who are fun to work with. I am particularly passionate about how banking the un-banked, especially in the emerging world, can play a role to eliminate poverty and have made personal investments to "put my money where my mouth is!"
