As a firm believer in the power of education to transform lives, I am determined to work toward creating a world where engaging, high-quality, supportive education is equally and globally accessible. In my current role with Teach For America - Phoenix, I am able to spread the stories of our students, our corps members, and our alumni in the effort to raise support for the work we do in metro Phoenix. By enlisting and developing diverse, talented individuals to become leaders in the movement to end educational inequity, we are working toward a day when all children have the ability to attain an excellent education. Through my work for and in collaboration with Arizona State University I contributed to projects and programs leading to higher enrollment and retention rates, and an improved student experience. I was also able to provide analysis vital to the implementation of the Starbucks College Achievement Plan.
