Growing up I loved traveling, learning about new cultures, and meeting people with different cultural backgrounds. As I graduated I wasn't quite sure what I wanted to do professionally, but starting my career in the sales department seemed like the right thing to do.... until I went through my first contract negotiation and realized the joy of creating strategies, problem-solving, and the power of influence. It was a time that not many people knew what was in Supply Chain besides logistics, and that is when I joined my first Procurement team. Since then, over 12 years have passed and I still get excited by the challenges, by enabling a team to reach results, by building strategies and connections.
