My career goal is to become a Network Analyst working for an innovative and dynamic company. For over 10 years, I worked in luxury retail for Louis Vuitton where I started out as an assistant manager and eventually moved up to operations manager. Although I greatly enjoyed the intensity and challenge of my work, which included leading a team and running a large-scale business, I decided to pursue a new career in Information Technology (IT). In my transition, I enrolled at Heald College and majored in IT Network Security. In addition to my classwork, I volunteered at a local agency where I assisted the IT Manager in order to gain invaluable hands-on training and experience with networking, hardware, and software applications. My education and onsite training have provided me with knowledge and skills that are critical for a career in networking. They have also instilled in me a strong dedication in and excitement for this field. My strengths include being a fast learner, the ability to think on my feet, and good interpersonal skills. I am well-versed in multiple platforms including: Linux, Windows, and Cisco systems. I am currently contracted with Sutter Health and am learning enormously with the Epic application.
