Sveriges Radio AB is Sweden's national publicly funded radio broadcaster.

Director General & CEO of Swedish Radio/Sveriges Radio since 2012. One of eleven members of the EBU Executive Board and currently Chairman of the EBU Personnel Committee. A member of the Board of Trustees at INSI (International News Safety Institute) and was during four years President of the Continental Media Festival Prix Europa. Has previously been a member of the Advisory Board for the Media and Communications Department at LSE (London School of Economics) and held the position of Chairman of the jury of UNESCO Guillermo Cano World Press Freedom Prize. Recurring international speaker on topics such as public service media, freedom of expression, the safety of journalists, digital development and leadership. Has worked at Swedish Radio for more than 30 years, mainly as a journalist Swedish Radio’s main newsroom Ekot,in several senior management positions. Has also worked as a freelancer in New York for Swedish commercial tv channel TV4 and been head of the news department at Swedish Television (SVT). Was in 2016 awarded the Pontus Schultz prize for leadership and for having achieved an equal workplace at all management levels within Swedish Radio. Was awarded the prestigious Leader of the Year award 2017 by the magazine “Chef”, which yearly appoints Sweden’s best leaders at all levels and from all industries. Received in 2020 the Kings medal for “Eminent services to Swedish media” by HRH King Carl XVI Gustaf of Sweden.
