I knew I wanted to have a career in marketing since the first day of my integrated marketing communications class in college. Over the past 15 years, I've had an opportunity to learn and develop a deep understanding of public relations, marketing communications, social media, content development and event strategy and management. Currently I'm Silicon Valley Bank's Senior Social Media Manager. I've been the voice behind SVB's presence on Twitter, LinkedIn, Facebook, YouTube and other channels for several years and love interacting with our clients and members of the tech and venture communities. I subscribe to entirely too many startup/entrepreneur/fintech/VC blogs and have a passion for curating and developing must-read content. I think trying out new social media channels, tools and best practices is fun. Social media isn't for everyone, but I enjoy helping people set up a Twitter account or get the most out of LinkedIn.
