Summa Health is an Akron, Ohio-based hospital system, with over 30 locations in the Akron/Canton area.

I have been in the IT field since 1991. Technical Functions include support of printers, Telecommunication systems including voicemail/call accounting systems, Pc's and equipment that interface with EMR systems within a Hospital Environment. Applications supported GE Centricity, Carelink, MyChart, Clinisync, Phytel, Carepath, Applications on desktops and CPSI system. Project Management: Responsible for Managing build outs within the Hospital setting including coordination of networking equipment, hardware, computer equipment, phone systems and all telecom lines. Responsible for upgrades to CPSI systems and GE Pacs Systems within Hospital Environment. Meaningful Use: Attested for Meaningful Use in Hospital setting for 3 years and for Ambulatory setting for the last 4 years. Responsible for Audits and responding to CMS. Budget and tracking Meaningful Use dollars. Management: Managed 5 staff members. Responsible for daily Operations of the IT department within a Hospital setting.
