As a privately held company, since 1948, Sugar Foods Corporation has built loyal, long-term relationships with our customers. We've done this by providing an extensive line of quality food products featuring some of America's most recognized brands for virtually every segment of the food industry. Our products are distributed by almost every foodservice distributor to more than 850,000 operators in both commercial (restaurants, hotels, office coffee services, etc) and non-commercial (business and industry, healthcare, colleges, etc) foodservice segments. Beyond our dominant position in foodservice, we are a substantial presence in the retail and consumer trade sectors of the food industry that includes supermarkets, warehouse clubs and mass merchandisers. Sugar Foods Corporation has production facilities in the United States and Mexico, a national sales force supervising a premier broker organization, and a solid distribution network extending throughout North America. Brian presently serves on the Alumni Board of Advisors for Harvard Business School, the Harvard University Alumni Real Estate Board, and the New York University Stern Real Estate Board and Executive Committee. Brian has also held roles as the CEO & Director of Broadmark (NYSE:BRMK acquired by Ready Cap NYSE:RC); the Global CEO & Director for Trimont Real Estate Advisors where he led the significant global growth of the business from $80B to $168B of clients' AUM in the Americas, Asia, and Europe, and, ultimately, a successful round-trip private equity investment; and as the President of the Americas for Colliers International (NASDAQ:CIGI), overseeing all Capital Markets & Investment Services functions for the company in the United States, Canada, and Latin America. In this role he also had supporting responsibilities in Asia, Europe, and the Middle East. As a member of the U.S. Executive and Operating Committees, he was also part of the CIGI Americas leadership team that successfully executed the company’s IPO. Brian has spent the bulk of his career managing, on behalf of institutional capital, the investment of several billion dollars of debt and equity capital into commercial real estate assets around the world.
