General Manager of Southern California

I am currently the General Manager of the Southern California region and National Chief Operating Officer for Suffolk Construction. I am responsible for overseeing our organization’s operations in the great cities of Los Angeles and San Diego and sharing my operations knowledge and expertise to promote the consistent implementation of our proven processes and technologies with all Suffolk regional offices throughout the country. I also provide operations and support our teams’ strategic direction; oversee the management of projects and client relationships; and lead marketing and work acquisition efforts. I have more than 30 years of experience in the construction industry, and I’m proud to say I have spent the majority of that time working with Suffolk. Throughout my tenure at Suffolk, I have assumed various leadership positions on corporate and regional levels and I have launched and developed several strategic divisions for our company, including Suffolk’s healthcare, education and science & technology practices. One of my most rewarding roles at Suffolk is helping to promote and share our 'build smart' brand with clients. I’m a passionate advocate for using innovative processes and technologies, like virtual design and construction (VDC) and Lean Construction principles, to deliver the highest-quality client service and the very best buildings the industry has to offer. I’m extremely proud to be a disciple and ambassador for our unique approach that is literally transforming the construction experience.I graduated from Worcester Polytechnic Institute in Worcester, Massachusetts with a Bachelor of Science degree in civil engineering. I am very happily married to my high school sweetheart Laura, and we have two girls Christina and Caroline, both who are attending college.
