A former journalist published in papers from The New York Times to The Philadelphia Inquirer, I've worked with, for, and around, lawyers for nearly 30 years - as a reporter covering the federal courts, a legal recruiter, a bar association executive and in a variety of law firm business development and marketing roles with AmLaw 100 firms ranging from Dechert and Duane Morris to Chadbourne & Parke and Crowell & Moring. I have significant experience in marketing operations, staff development and sector-specific business development initiatives in pharma, gaming, entertainment and other industries. I also have an extensive background in domestic and international event management. I am co-executive editor of Strategies, the flagship publication of the international Legal Marketing Association, and serve on LMA's Educational Advisory Council, the entity charged with crafting professional development standards for the industry. A founding member of the Metropolitan Philadelphia Chapter of the Legal Marketing Association, I currently serve on the inaugural board of LMA's Northeast Region, which provides support, programming, networking and governance to its membership from Boston to Philadelphia. As an active member of my community, I've held volunteer leadership positions with the Philadelphia Alliance for Capital and Technology, Southern New Jersey Development Council, Girl Scouts of Central and Southern New Jersey, and the Volunteers of America Delaware Valley chapter. I have also served as an instructor with the Irish Academy of Public Relations.
