I am experienced instructional support specialist who designs communications strategies and student success initiatives for higher education institutions and organizations.At Stony Brook University's School of Professional Development, I manage several communications channels, develop and deliver in-person and online training and outreach events, and connect learners to the resources they need to succeed. My current job affords me the opportunity to use marketing strategy, digital technologies, and information design expertise to recruit and retain students, in addition to working with faculty to create unique learning communities.I'm an Alabama native, but I have been living in the New York metro region for so long that I have forgotten how to make sweet tea.
