I am an IT director with 10+ years of experience managing IT and I am currently responsible for the activities and strategic direction of 3 teams with 25 professionals (Help Desk, Operations, and Engineering) providing services to a 2.5+ billion dollar credit union with 20 branches and over 175,000 members. I have direct experience with core system conversions, online banking conversions, project management methodologies (Agile, Kanban, Scrum), and data warehouse migration and architecture as well as the strategic direction and implementation of all traditional IT functions. I have been a regular speaker at credit union conferences and workshops and provide coaching and growth opportunities to individuals on my teams. Current major team initiatives include the growth of business intelligence initiatives and data warehouse migration (Sagent to Informatica & Information Builders), e-Delivery, support of the member relationship management initiative, cloud/co-location migration, and the conversion of several line of business systems. I am passionate about technology and new innovation always looking for new ideas that can add efficiency, convenience, or savings for our membership. While I enjoy all aspects of my job, I think my favorite recent activity has been business intelligence, data analytics, and setting the strategy and architecture for these systems.
