Proven leader in the federal IT community with 20+ years of experience overseeing agency and government-wide digital communications and technology programs. Strong visionary and strategic thinker who advocates for using state-of-the-art digital technology to transform government and deliver exceptional customer service to global audiences. Highly skilled in implementing innovative IT solutions while ensuring compliance with federal IT requirements. Extensive experience leading change and building consensus at various levels inside and outside government. Skilled at supervising diverse teams in a fast-paced, progressive workplace environment. Experience includes leading the Center for Excellence in Digital Government and Federal Web Managers Council, working with the White House and federal agencies to develop the Digital Government Strategy, and spearheading the .gov Reform Initiative to streamline federal websites. Spent half my career with the Peace Corps, where I've served as the Deputy Chief of Staff and as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Togo, West Africa. Degrees in French and Political Science from UC Berkeley.
