Chris has worked in roles as an Executive Director and Director in Human Resources, Hospitality Educator and Administrator, Hotel Manager, and Concierge Supervisor. Chris previously served as the President of the Southern Nevada Compensation and Benefits Association. Chris previously taught Human Resources and Operations Management courses at the UNLV Harrah Hotel College which was recently ranked by QA World University Rankings as the World's Best for Hospitality and Leisure Management. He has served on panels to promote workforce education and employment sustainability. Chris served on Governor Sandoval’s Workforce Development Board’s Tourism, Gaming and Entertainment Sector Council. He currently works with the State of Nevada, East Career and Technical Academy, Leaders in Training, the National Society of Minorities in Hospitality, and UNLV to devote time to mentor students with employment and interviewing techniques. Chris was featured regularly on the Fox 5 More Show as the resident career expert. Chris was named as one of the Top 100 Men of success for MYVEGAS Magazine. Chris earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from the University of Nevada Las Vegas and a Master of Science degree in Human Resource Development with an emphasis in Adult Education at Texas A&M University. In 2013, he earned the Certified Hospitality Educator designation and Certified Guest Service Professional designation from the American Hotel & Lodging Educational Institute.
