SOM is one of the largest and most influential architecture, interior design, engineering, and urban planning firms in the world.

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE After graduating in Architecture in 2007 at University of Naples ‘Federico II’ Marina started a collaboration with prof. arch. Pasquale Miano practice. Since 2011 she has worked as a freelancer in architectural, urban and interior design sectors for private clients and public administrations. She also deals with book graphic design, layout and editing. RESEARCH In 2007 she won the competition for admission to the PhD Program in Urban Design and in 2010 she graduated of Doctor of Philosophy. She has played a constant and parallel design research activity participating at university Conventions, Workshops, Conferences, Seminars, which results have been in part published. She has been in London to collect research material for her Ph.D. thesis under the supervision of Daniel Ringelstein - AIA, Director of Urban Design and Planning - SOM London. COMPETITIONS She has participated in numerous national and international competitions for ideas, collaborating with several colleagues and workgroups. Some of them awarded, published and exhibited. TEACHING ACTIVITIES As a Ph.D. student and then as a Ph.D. in Urban Design she has collaborated with the University of Naples ‘Federico II’ and the Politecnico of Milan, in different Courses / Masters / International Summer Schools and University Workshops as an assistant, tutor and coordinator.
