Co-founded BusLogic in 1988 with Peter Harvey and served as CEO till it was acquired in 1996 (now part of IBM). BusLogic designed & marketed ASIC, board and software for communication and storage industries. Investors received 60 times return in 6 years. Dick Kramlich, Chairman of NEA, was on our board. Co-founded Maton Venture in 1997 and served as Managing Director to invest in 33 technology companies with most of them since inception. Exited with 6 IPO and 9 M&A. CEOs of all the 6 public companies were all original founders. Served as Chairman of the Global Monte Jade Science and Technology Association from 1998 to 2000 and served as Chairman of Monte Jade West (Silicon Valley) from 1997 to 1998. Initiated and organized the first VC conference for Silicon Valley Taiwanese/Chinese community. Served as Chairman of SVT Angels (Silicon Valley Taiwan Angels) from its inception in 2013 till 2016. Organized Immersion Program for the young entrepreneurs from Taiwan. Some have become very successful international businesses. (ex: Flux3D, Alchema...)
