Events - Fintech - Networking - Start ups - Mentoring Public Speakers - advising and promoting women speakers. Huge interest in technology and the future I've been an entrepreneur since I was 16, lucky enough to have a family who encouraged me to always be curious and try everything. My mantra is say yes first then figure out 'how' afterwards. Many years later and a number of businesses behind me I'd like to think I'm a good communicator with a passion for people and networking, a love of all things tech and a degree in comedy for good measure. I'm on the Board of the TLA Future of Work group and head up networking and events. I have been involved with fundraising for the www.firstlighttrust.co.uk a charity for Veterans, Veterans-to-be and those going through transition. Helping the most vulnerable so they don't fall through the cracks. I'm a member of The Circle, the charity that Annie Lennox founded to help and support women. I'm an active member of the Women in Tech Group (Tech London Advocates) I helped set up a Mentor2Mentee programme that brings girl students and female entrepreneurs together to build connections for advice and support. Seeking advice doesn't reveal incompetence. It reflects respect for another person's insight. Requesting feedback doesn't signal insecurity. It demonstrates that you care more about your learning than your ego. Asking for help doesn't display weakness. It builds strength. Adam Grant
