Shopkick Inc. is a Palo Alto, Calif.-based startup funded by Kleiner Perkins' iFund, Greylock Partners and Reid Hoffman, founder of LinkedIn, and investor in Facebook and Zynga.

I am currently serving as the executive assistant to the VPs of National Brand and Retail Sales at shopkick in Redwood City. I provide administrative support to ensure the efficiency and effectiveness of sales leadership.I served as an administrative assistant to a financial services executive for about two years. My research skills were put to use for gathering and organizing information sources for high-wealth client proposals, ensuring client questions were answered before being asked, and the highest possible capture rate. Most importantly, what made me effective in this position was my ability to adjust my focus and workflow as needed to support the rapidly changing priorities and goals of a creative and dynamic executive.I have almost 12 years of experience as a youth minister; serving children ages 5-18, directing a variety of programs. I mastered the skill of working with a "shoestring" budget, and learned the art and importance of diplomacy in every interaction. I managed 20-30 adult volunteers in an array of student and church programs, ensuring that church priorities were completed in a timely manner, and with the highest possible level of quality.As a senior field claim representative, I served as the primary contact and problem solver for customers throughout the claim process, with customer satisfaction consistently over 90%, serving approximately 1,000 customers annually. I maintained excellent relationships with vendors and repair shops. I took advantage of every training opportunity, and earned ASE certification in collision estimation.I love helping people. Whether it’s providing exceptional customer service or delivering administrative support to professionals or executives, helping people is what makes my work a passion.
