Scott’s career in Human Resources has encompassed a variety of disciplines, industries and geographic locations over the past 20+ years. He is currently in the Real Estate industry as the Director of HR for Shea Homes in the Bay Area, the Central Valley and Sacramento. Previously, he was in the Retail industry as Regional HR Manager of Stores for both Target and Mervyn’s along with various other HR functions in the Distribution Centers and Corporate. His geographic scope of responsibility has included California, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Louisiana, Michigan, Minnesota, Nevada, Oklahoma, Oregon, Utah, and Washington. Scott is a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) and a member of the Society of Human Resource Management (SHRM). He is bi-lingual (fluent in Spanish). He has experienced other cultures by living in Belgium, Canada, Iceland, Puerto Rico and Spain. He is a trained facilitator in numerous areas including Career Architect, Targeted Selection and the Franklin Covey programs of the 7 Habits of Highly Effective People, The 5 Choices, and The Speed of Trust.
