Founded in 1893, Scot Forge is an employeeowned manufacturer that offers a range of custom ferrous and nonferrous open die and rolled ring forgings in North America. Its product line includes bars, rings, hubs, blanks, spindles, hollows and torchcut contours. The company operates more than four plants that cover an area of over 1,000,000squarefoot of manufacturing space. It utilizes a variety of equipment that includes steam hammers, hydraulic open die presses and ring mills. Scot Forge also provides saw cutting, rough machining, deephole boring, heat treating and contour torch cutting services. It serves the heavy construction, mining, oilfield, power transmission, transportation and defense industries. The company manufactures products in carbon, alloy, stainless steel, copper, nickel, titanium and aluminum materials.

I am the Marketing & Communications Manager at Scot Forge, the industry leader in open die and rolled ring forging for 129 years. In this role, I manage communication, customer learning, graphic design and digital strategy. I lead the company’s demand generation, market research and customer learning efforts, gather market feedback and analyze the customer experience. From this data, I create segmentation and develop our go-to-market approach and content that will bring value to each unique customer. I also create and execute our internal and external communication strategy and branding efforts. I am passionate about aligning sales and marketing activities to drive results. I believe that one function cannot exist without the other. In great organizations, like ours, these two departments work together seamlessly to take care of the customer, which is what it's all about.
