With a background in visual merchandising, my current position in retail has allowed me to use my creative insights and make more of an impact on a sales floor. Living Spaces has assisted my growth in leadership positions by giving me the tools and opportunities to perfect my personal strengths and time management skills. As a Department Lead (DL), I excelled in performance management, standard operating procedures, and time management. My performance in management and sales as a DL received acknowledgement for ranking in the top 10% of my peers in the company. I have now been promoted to Sales Manager where I will be managing multiple departments and my performance will still be rated against other peers. In 2015, I maintained my performance record in the top 10% amongst other Sales Managers. My goals in leadership and position within Living Spaces focus on making more of an impact as I move up in the company. I have proven my commitment to the company and my ultimate goal is to be a member of the corporate team. I have achieved my goal in becoming a Sales Manager so I'm progressing in talent and skill. I believe I work toward the greater good for my employer, a team player who achieves more than expected, and I have the discipline to continuously improve my performance.
