For over 15 years I have been trusted by major venues and visitor attractions to deliver world class experiences. Having worked at a major UK National Museum Group and across a large number of national and international sporting events, at iconic venues, I am a proven leader who can be trusted to deliver against ambitious targets. Having played football at a professional level I have a winning mentality and a can do, will do approach to both my career and personal life. My key career achievements include: - responsible for over £20m of income across four separate Museums that welcome over 5m visitors each year. - Overseeing the delivery of the retail, corporate events, commercial attractions, and catering business operations delivered by department of over 100 people who ensure that for 362 days a year we deliver inspirational and profitable experiences. - Spearheading the implementation of new commercial and operational projects that deliver to the ambitions of the business plans that have been set out. Recently this has included the refresh of the Science Museum IMAX Theatre, and the opening our the redeveloped Science Museum main retail shop. - Leading the front line operations teams at the Science Museum, which includes Visitor Services, Gallery Technician Services, the Interactive Gallery 'Wonderlab', Volunteering, and the contracted Security and Cleaning services. The Science Museum welcomes over 3 million visitors a year and is open 362 days a year. - Senior Event Manager at Wembley National Stadium Ltd. leading the planning of the UK’s major sporting and music events which included leading the planning and operational delivery for the UEFA Champions League Final 2013. - Event Manager at the 2007 Solheim Cup in Sweden. Responsible for site management at Europe’s biggest Ladies golfing event. - Event Manager at the 2006 World Rowing Championships at Eton. Site manager for all temporary facilities.
