Hovig Safoian, Founder and Chairman of the Board, is a veteran IT professional with over 35 years of experience leading IT teams, and developing innovative solutions for complex and challenging environments. After receiving his Masters of Science in Applied Mathematics, he began working as a mainframe programmer and an application developer. Merging his technical expertise with a vested interest in business and management processes, Hovig applied his experience to his own IT consulting practice, where he began implementing Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) solutions for business management firms. Under Hovig’s guidance, SADA began as a managed IT services firm providing on-site and remote IT support. SADA grew to become a global provider of strategic IT solutions and cloud transformation services for leading cloud platform providers. Hovig’s extensive industry experience managing IT and business processes was crucial in building the strategic partnerships between SADA and its leading cloud partners and customers. Most recently, Hovig was instrumental in leading the divestiture of one of SADA’s cloud practices to Core BTS, allowing SADA to focus on its next stage of growth fully dedicated to Google Cloud. Named 2013 CIO of the Year by the Los Angeles Business Journal for Emerging Business category, Safoian oversees all IT and technical strategies and solutions, and migration and deployment teams delivering cloud transformation services.
