I am a public relations professional and writer with 20 years experience in tourism/gaming/hospitality, agency, not-for-profit, and higher education settings. My passion runs deep for all things Western New York, and I moved back by choice in 2004 before it was "the cool thing to do." I am particularly skilled at writing under deadlines, community relations, mastering technology, and research. I always maintain an open mind about where my life's journey will take me -- but I do aspire to obtain a leadership role where I can mentor others and parlay my communication experience to a broader community relations role in either the government, nonprofit, or tourism industry. Specialties: Writing in both AP and Chicago styles for public relations materials, magazines, and creative copy; building media databases; Internet researching; pitching media; public speaking.
